In our VILLAGE products you experience high-end home decor with design, quality and functionality of the Scandinavian craft heritage. The products are produced with passion and love of carefully selected materials, which focus on nature, our planet and a sustainable climate. With inspiration from natural materials, simplicity and Nordic traditions VILLAGE mainly focus on wood materials – glass, cast iron and limestone. All materials with a unique story worth telling.

Horred

Everything started about 20 years ago in the small village of Horred in Sweden. Horred has a long tradition of craft, high tech furniture design and a lot of know-how. The Furnitures are produced from carefully chosen materials and takes time to manufacture.

Leather from Tärnsjö Garveri

VILLAGE leather products are produced of Swedish organic leather from the ancient Tärnsjö Garveri, one of the few tanneries in the world that still uses vegetable tanning which is important from an environmental perspective. Bark extracts and water-based finishes are used instead of environmentally hazardous substances like chromium.

Wool Blankets

VILLAGE Blankets are produced of ecological wool from Swedish sheep.

Staffan Holm

In collaboration with the Swedish designer Staffan Holm, together with highly skilled professional partners VILLAGE continues to focus on preserving the heritage of the Swedish and Nordic craft tradition. Staffan Holm lives in Gothenburg. After graduating from the HDK - Academy of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg, Holm founded his studio in 2008. As a furniture carpenter specialist, Holm's creation is grounded in traditional craftsmanship but with great interest in developing high-tech manufacturing methods. Holms aim is to evoke feelings with the products he has designed and to get people to fall in love and to attach to them.
